しばらくぶりにebay.itを調べていたら、UFO ROBOT GOLDRAKE SECONDA STAGIONE vol.3, vol.4が出ていたので即買い。購入は、以前からd/worldのDVDやマンガを買っていたショップlattitude42comicsさんのところから。
イタリアでは、１つのケースに１枚のDVD収納という形で出ている。DVDは全12巻で、前半と後半に分けて、前半をprima serie、後半がseconda stagioneとして発売された。prima serieの6巻には、6枚分収納のケースが付録についた。その後、seconda stagioneの1と2が出て、ずっと間が開いていた。やっと続きが出たのはめでたいですね。この調子で最終巻まで出して欲しいところ。
このシリーズでは、イタリア版の人物名と武器名が使われている音声と、日本版準拠の人物名と武器名が使われている音声の２種類が収録されている。ただし、新録なので、イタリア放映当時のテレビで流れた音声とは別物（放映当時のものを知りたければ、そもそも正規版が存在しないため、イタリア人ファンがアングラで作っているDVDをどっかから入手するしか方法がない。何てこったい、まったく……）。パッケージは越智カントクの絵で超絶キレイだし、録音も良くなっているので、イタリア事情を知りたいファンと、イタリア語をネイティブスピードで聞きたい人は、是非入手すべし！

D/Visual Grendizer box is a painful argument in Italy.
D/Visual decided for a great project: new dubbing and complete restore of images ( using a special software called “Archangel” which make miracles).
Infact the video quality is great, and new dubbing has corrected some translation’s old mistakes, so the new version is more similar to japanese dubbing.
The two main characters, Duke Fleed and Hikaru, have the same dubbers of 30 years agò, and the effect is quite strange, because Romano Malaspina ( Duke Fleed) is now 70 years old..but I think that none of Grendizer italian fan could imagine a Duke’s differetnt voice. Duke IS Romano Malaspina, for italian fans. One of te best dubbing italian voices we ever had.
Anyway, those choises seemed very good to every body, and we bought with great joy DVDs despite of high price ( 24 euro each).
The publication started in 2007, and it is not finished yet. The last one ( number 4 of second season) came out more than one year ago.. and we are loosing hope and we are really angry with D/visual.
D/visual is quite regular in publishing mangas , but it’s a disaster in DVDs.. I really hope they will be able to print the two last DVDs, because I spent 240 euros and I have an incomplete work ( the last 12 episodes are missing).
